In his youth, Syrge Cassidy was a Federal Marshall on Earth; but once the Go-Tubes (mathematical wormholes) opened up the galaxy for mankind, Cassidy, his wife (Fehnri), and Jericho (his digital companion) retired to run a dinosaur ranch in a far-flung Decimal Point.
But now, a mysterious gangster has kidnaped Fehnri, and Cassidy must go on a pangalactic quest to rescue her. This journey lands him (and Jericho) in a corrupted Decimal Point, where Jericho switches bodies with Cassidy and they must survive a universe fashioned after warped versions of Old Earth fantasy literature.
Plagued by ill-tempered distractions, Jericho must follow a yellow path to a sinister castle, where he has to defeat the Evil Queen to restore the Decimal Point to its proper program. Only then can Cassidy escape to resume his search for lost Fehnri.
